In general, impacts to the campus community will be felt
in the form of longer response times for routine maintenance items. Campus
customer requests for routine repairs or recharge services may take longer.
Our highest priority for Physical Plant personnel will be immediate response
for safety issues and maintenance emergencies. Also very important will
be regulatory compliance, and the proper operation and delivery of critical
campus services such as electricty, water, natural gas, sewer, refuse/recycling,
storm water systems, campus roads/paths and vegetation management for
fire fuel reduction. The most visible direct change customers will notice
is that Custodial Services has eliminated the graveyard shift and will
clean offices in state-funded areas only once a week.
