Work Management Home


The Work Management Group provides construction Project Management, Planned Maintenance, Customer Service and Building Commissioning services for the state buildings and other campus facilities.
  • Senior Superintendent of Work Management

  • Project Management Services
    Services include the management for campus repairs and replacement projects of everything from roads to roofs, electrical equipment, boilers to chillers and carpet installation, etc.
  • Planned Maintenance (PM)
    Schedules and provides maintenance activities performed on equipment or facilities with the purpose of keeping them in good operating condition. By having a comprehensive Planned Maintenance (PM) program, breakdowns and unscheduled outages are held to a minimum. Fire extinguisher maintenance is included, too.
  • Customer Service/In-house Campus Projects
    There are two primary roles to fulfill in this position. The first is that of project coordinator for multiple craft projects where work is to be performed by the UCSC Physical Plant. The second is as a liaison for your general Physical Plant inquiries and customer services.
  • Commissioning
    The Facilities Commissioner provides coordination of project activities with Work Management, Physical Plant and Physical Planning and Construction. Building Commissioning includes review of building projects through design and construction. Another primary role of Building Commissioning is the handling of newly completed project Warranty Deficiencies.
