The State provides the campus with a purchased utility
budget to pay for the utilities in the State funded areas of campus. Other
areas are metered with our metering system and the cost of providing energy
to these areas is recovered through a recharge system. Recharge bills are
calculated monthly.
Metering Services
The campus has over 1,000 meters that measure electricity, natural gas,
building water, irrigation, seawater and sewage. All of the meters are
read monthly and the usage is calculated and stored in a database. The
history on most meters can go back to 1998. Anyone needing the usages
or costs associated with their meters may contact us for assistance.
