The Human Resources provides a variety of personnel services and support
to approximately 260 employees. This unit administers the personnel policies
that govern professional/support staff, managers/senior professionals
and executive employees and provides services to employees covered by
various union agreements. This unit also provides workers’ compensation,
training and development, develops and implements employee relations programs,
assists in organizational development, and works as a liaison with the
Campus Personnel Office.
Functions and Duties:
The Human Resources Analyst provides guidance and counseling to Facilities
Management employees in the following areas:
- Benefits Representation
- Problem investigation and resolution
- Policies and Procedures clarification for supervisors and staff
- Coordinate employee leaves of absences
- Campus resources referrals
- Recruitments
- Classification reviews
- Salary Adjustments
- Updates to Payroll/Personnel System (PPS)
- Performance Evaluation Coordinator
- Union Requests/Labor Relations
- Communicate relevant policies and procedures changes that affect
management and staff.
